RESEARCH. The developed regulations allowed increasing the extraction of copper and molybdenum, as well as preserving the quality of the concentrate when decreasing molybdenum content in ore.
DESIGN. Before starting reconstruction, the factory processed 8.2 million tons of ore per year. The expansion of the factory was planned in 2 stages: expansion to 12.5 million tons with construction of a semi-self-grinding building and expansion to 20 million tons on the existing areas with installation of additional ball mill. The design of the second stage was carried out using BIM modeling.
EQUIPMENT. In the process of reconstruction outdated flotation machines were replaced with RIF equipment of a larger unit capacity on the existing areas.
The company's productivity was increased from 8,2 million to 20 million tons per year. The reconstruction was carried out without stopping production
