The company history

The “RIVS” Company was established in 1991 by a group of engineers under the leadership of Alexey Vladimirovich Zimin. The core of the team consists of designers and technologists with experience in developing mining and beneficiation equipment and mineral beneficiation technologies.

The main task was to restore the lost production of domestic beneficiation equipment. Developed RIF mixing and aeration complexes formed the basis of a number of equipment: contact, solution tanks and flotation RIF machines of various volumes. In 2004 the company includes the RIVS machine-building plant in Uchaly, which ensures high quality and stable performance of the RIF equipment.

The Department of Automated control systems created in 2000 provides the manufactured equipment with modern automation systems and is responsible for improving the efficiency of the technological process as a whole.

As the company developed, there was a need for a reliable partner who would develop project documentation for construction or reconstruction of the beneficiation plants. Therefore, in 2005 the company formed a new division - the Project Department, which now employs more than 70 employees.

In 2010, we were joined by the Analytical center that is responsible for testing and analytical control. The main activity of the Center is to create a modern and effective automatic analytical control system.

Simultaneously with creation of new equipment, we developed research activities: since the Department of technological research has developed and implemented a large number of highly efficient enrichment technologies using new-generation flotation reagents at enterprises in Russia, the CIS, Mongolia and other countries from the date of company's foundation.

After receiving its first patent in 1992, the RIVS Company focused its research activities in the field of beneficiation, until 2012, when the Department of hydrometallurgy joined the RIVS technology team. Now the company employs specialists of various profiles, and the hydrometallurgy laboratory is equipped with modern equipment that allows performing research in the field of autoclave oxidative leaching, heap and dump leaching, sorption cyanidation, etc.

In order to offer its customers the most complete set of services, in 2014 the RIVS Company started designing a research and development center in Uchaly on the basis of existing research laboratories. The research and development center, which now bears the name of the company's founder A.V. Zimin, is successfully working on the new projects and developing new technologies taking into account the characteristics of processed raw materials.
